Foothills Bungalow

Featured in Southern Living Magazine's September 2023 edition, this 1920s cottage had a great architectural foundation but needed to be updated. In an effort to retain as much original material as possible, we did not touch the footprint of the building, but painted the whole house inside and out, renovated the kitchen and baths, and completely overhauled the landscaping and outdoor spaces. Budget was important during this project, so we reused elements when we could (especially the historic elements!), and looked for savings in specific materials and finish selections. Almost every room was painted a bright and light neutral to help balance the deep overhangs of the bungalow while also allowing the art collection to shine.
