This renovation aimed to capture the incredible view of the marsh in as many rooms of the house as possible - all while making sure each space served this family of six (and their many guests) well! We upfitted the existing building, then added a pool, mudroom, butler's pantry and main suite. We loved the client's willingness to explore patterns and layers throughout each space -  rich finishes like unlacquered brass and warm wood tones were paired with dynamic textiles and funky furnishings that didn't feel too stuffy. The blend of these elements produced something that felt lived in and comfortable while updated and fresh.
